    Savings on operating cost

Typically a electrically heated water bath or dry vaporiser requires 12 kW of electrical power to vaporise 100 kg of LPG. 0.12 kW for every 1 kg of LPG vaporisation) Considering one unit of electricity costs Rs.8.00 this below table shows the savings on operating cost by using Ambient Air Vaporiser.

    Key Features

This performance, along with compliance with IS 6044 Part 1 safety standards, underscores our commitment to safety and environmental sustainability

    Specially Designed Float Valve

    • Float valve tailored to LPG’s density
    • Prevents liquid LPG from passing downstream
    • Acts as a trap for heavy hydrocarbons
    • Delivers only gas phase LPG and mitigates the risk of liquid carryover

Over Pressure Shut Off with Bypass

    • Over-pressure shut-off mechanism designed to automatically stops LPG flow if pressure exceeds safe levels.
    • Includes bypass for continued operation while addressing any issues that may trigger the shut-off mechanism.
    • Gas filter with 50 micron pore dimensions, which helps in maintaining the purity of the LPG and protecting the components from impurities.

    Liquid LPG Pressure Regulation

    • Regulators designed to function at temperatures as low as -20°C
    • Includes standby regulator to prevent operational reakdowns

Gauge Isolation Valve with Bleed option

    • Gauge Isolation Valve rated for 6000 PSI working pressure at 65°C
    • Facilitates safe pressure release and maintenance with a bleeding mechanism

    Fire-Safe Certified Ball Valves

    • Certified Fire Safe ball valves used throughout the system which are designed to maintain integrity in the event of fire.
    • Zinc coated for corrosion resistance.

    Precision-Engineered LPG Safety Relief Valve

    • Maintain safe operational pressures
    • Prevent dangerous pressure build-ups mitigating potential system failures or safety hazards

Working of the Ambient Air Vaporiser

Our Ambient Air Vaporiser is a breakthrough in LPG vaporisation technology. Here’s a closer look at the process:

When the liquid LPG pressure is reduced and ambient heat is applied via the heat exchanger, which also maximises contact with ambient air through its large surface area, the liquid undergoes a phase transition from liquid to gas.

This transition occurs at temperatures and pressures specific to each substance, illustrated in phase diagrams.
The vaporisation process is governed by the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics, principles of phase equilibrium, and heat & mass transfer, allowing the liquid to vaporise at temperatures below its standard boiling point due to the reduced pressure.

    Field-Proven System

GASSOL’s innovative Ambient Air Vaporiser, first of its kind in the industry underwent an extensive two-year testing period before its deployment. Our ever-growing number of satisfied clients report consistent and reliable performance even after more than a year of continuous operation.

    Efficiency

While ambient temperature influences vaporisation efficiency, our system operates optimally at atmospheric temperatures as low as 12°C, with a maximum outlet pressure of 1 kg/cm². Higher outlet pressures require higher ambient temperatures, and vice versa.

According to IS 6044 Part 1, pipeline networks downstream of the first stage Pressure Regulating Valve should not exceed 1.5 kg/cm².

Commercial burners, per IS 14612, are designed for a maximum pressure of 1.5 kg/cm² but are most efficient at 0.35 kg/cm², where they achieve approximately 45% efficiency. It has been noted that higher pressures reduce efficiency.

Industrial burners operate at a maximum of 0.30 kg/cm², thus more than 1 kg/cm² outlet pressure is not required under any circumstances.
