1. Purpose of the Website

The Website is currently used for the following purposes:

To present information about GASSOL, our products, our services, our capabilities, and our project track record.

To allow visitors to enquire about our products and services through the contact form.

To allow visitors to request technical brochures and specification documents through the brochure request form, with email or SMS-based identity verification.

To provide engineering calculators and reference tools in our tools section for industrial fuel and energy decisions, with detailed results unlocked through email or SMS-based identity verification.

To support our marketing, communications, and customer engagement activities.

The Website does not currently support online ordering, online payments, or the conclusion of binding sales contracts. Any quotation, offer, agreement, purchase order, or contract for the supply of products or services from GASSOL is concluded through separate written communications and documents, governed by their own terms.

If and when we introduce e-commerce, online ordering, online payment, or other transactional features on the Website, additional or supplementary terms will apply to those features (including but not limited to terms covering pricing, payment, taxes, delivery, returns, refunds, and product warranties), and those terms will be presented to you at the relevant point of use.

2. Eligibility

By using the Website, you confirm that:

You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

GASSOL is a business-to-business engineering company. The Website and its content are intended for use by industrial, commercial, institutional, and professional audiences.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the Website in any way that violates any applicable law, regulation, or rule, including but not limited to laws relating to data protection, telecommunications, intellectual property, and consumer protection.

Submit any information through the Website that is false, misleading, fraudulent, or designed to deceive.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GASSOL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Website and its content for your own personal or internal business evaluation and reference purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, publish, display, perform, license, sell, or commercially exploit any content from the Website without our prior written consent. Limited fair use, such as quoting short excerpts with proper attribution for legitimate purposes such as journalism, academic research, or reference, is permitted in accordance with applicable law.

You retain ownership of any information, content, or materials you submit to us through the Website (such as the description of your requirement on the contact form). However, by submitting such information, you grant GASSOL a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, copy, and process that information for the purposes of responding to your enquiry, providing our services, and complying with our legal obligations.

5. Brochures and technical content

Brochures, datasheets, technical specifications, and other documents made available through the Website are provided for your information and reference only. They are not, and should not be construed as, technical advice, engineering recommendations, design guarantees, or binding offers.

Specifications, capacities, and product features described in our brochures are based on standard configurations and may vary in actual deployments. The final product specification, scope of supply, and terms of supply for any GASSOL product or service are determined exclusively through formal quotations, purchase orders, and signed contracts between GASSOL and the customer.

Information in our brochures and on our Website may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

6. No warranty in respect of the Website

The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GASSOL makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the Website, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or accuracy.

Warranties that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GASSOL, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website, or arising from any errors, omissions, interruptions, or inaccuracies in the Website, even if GASSOL has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall GASSOL's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website exceed Indian Rupees Five Thousand (INR 5,000), regardless of the form of action and irrespective of whether such liability arises under contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory.

This limitation does not apply to liability arising from GASSOL's wilful misconduct, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

For the avoidance of doubt, this Section 7 relates only to liability arising in connection with the Website. It does not limit, exclude, or affect liability arising under separate contracts for the supply of GASSOL products or services, which are governed by the terms of those contracts.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GASSOL, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Your breach of these Terms.

Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.

Any content, information, or material you submit to us through the Website, where such content gives rise to a claim by a third party.

9. Third-party links and services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by GASSOL. These are provided for your convenience and reference only. GASSOL has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

The "Effective from" date at the top of these Terms will indicate when the latest version came into effect. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including but not limited to Sections 4 (Intellectual property), 6 (No warranty), 7 (Limitation of liability), 8 (Indemnification), 12 (Governing law and jurisdiction), and 13 (Dispute resolution) — shall survive any termination of your access to the Website.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Subject to Section 13, the courts at Moodbidri, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website.

13. Dispute resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith discussions. Either party may initiate such discussions by sending a written notice to the other party describing the dispute.

If the dispute is not resolved through good-faith discussions within 30 (thirty) days of the written notice, then the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts at Moodbidri, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, India.

Nothing in this Section 13 prevents either party from seeking interim or injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction at any time.

14. General provisions

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and GASSOL with respect to the Website, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

No waiver. No failure or delay by GASSOL in exercising any right under these Terms shall constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. GASSOL may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
